Pod Save the UK is a weekly political comedy podcast hosted by Nish Kumar and Coco Khan, produced by Crooked Media in partnership with Reduced Listening.
Since May 2025, I have been working as PSUK’s Social Media Producer. This means I manage the show’s social channels, identifying engaging moments and editing clips on a fast turnaround. I manage the publishing schedule, and produce monthly analytics reports, with insights from these reports helping us to evolve the social media strategy and maximise the show’s growth across social media and YouTube. As the show’s first in-house Social Media Producer, I’ve been working closely with the the production team to shape the digital identity and voice of the show, through careful social media copywriting and refining the visual approach of our clips and thumbnails. The role has been a great opportunity to learn about SEO and improve my skills in Photoshop.
Before becoming a Social Media Producer, I worked with the PSUK team on a freelance basis. Starting in February 2024, I edited some of long-form episodes, and occasionally worked as an Assistant Producer, where I helped with audio editing, research briefs, fact-checking, script writing, as well as providing support at the studio recording sessions.
