About

I am a London-based podcast producer, social media producer and film editor. I’ve made work for a range of clients, including: Pod Save the UK, BBC Radio 4, Serpentine, The Great Women Artists, Art on the Undergound, Charleston, Factory International, Mix Interiors, Axel Arigato, and Empathy Museum.

In the podcasting world, I am skilled in making both video and audio programmes. My experience spans research, recording, interviewing, script writing, video and audio editing, sound design, and occasionally mixing. I also work as a Social Media Producer for Pod Save the UK, so I have a great understanding of platforms like Instagram, TikTok and YouTube, and I am continually growing my skills in content creation and social strategy that can help shows to grow their reach.

Alongside this, I have been editing documentaries (long-form and shorts), and I am actively looking to build on my skills in this arena.

I can work in Adobe Premiere and Audition, DaVinci Resolve and Reaper. I’m confident producing studio recording sessions, as well as recording audio on location and remotely (I own a Zoom H6 field recorder + Rode Reporter mic). I also know my way round a camera pretty well, and have filmed professionally too.

At the moment, I’m especially interested in exploring: identity, language, psychology, relationships, and how politics shapes people’s lives. I’m always on the hunt for purpose in my work, and my dream projects would amplify the stories of people who are making the world a better place, play a part in holding power to account, and/or influence policy.

I always aim to put ethics at the forefront of my creative practice, handling human stories with great care and sensitivity, and I prioritise collaborating with individuals and organisations that operate ethically too.

Aside from making stuff, I would love to deliver more workshops and training sessions, and to find opportunities to share my skills with other people. If you think we might be able to work together, please get in touch!

I was born in Belgrade, Serbia, and moved to the UK as an eight-year-old. My surname is pronounced Smil-ya-nich (sort of). My pronouns are she/her.
