I am a London-based producer and editor of podcasts and documentary films. I’ve made work for a range of clients, including: BBC Radio 4, Serpentine, The Great Women Artists, Factory International, Mix Interiors, Axel Arigato, and Empathy Museum.
I was born in Belgrade, Serbia, and moved to the UK as an eight-year-old. I’m especially interested in stories that explore identity, language, and relationships.
I always aim to put ethics at the forefront of my creative practice, handling human stories with great care and sensitivity. I am especially interested in making work that amplifies stories of people who are making the world a better place, and would like to collaborate with individuals and organisations that place social responsibility and sustainability at the heart of their work.
I can work in Adobe Premiere and Audition, DaVinci Resolve and Reaper. I’m confident producing studio recording sessions, as well as recording audio on location and remotely (I own a Zoom H6 field recorder + Rode Reporter mic). I also know my way around a camera pretty well.
Aside from making stuff, I would love to deliver more workshops and training sessions and find opportunities to share my skills with other people. If you think we might be able to work together, please get in touch!
My surname is pronounced Smil-ya-nich (sort of). My pronouns are she/her.
