In summer 2025, I was thrilled to be approached by Art on the Underground, to help with the making of Turner Prize-nominated artist Rory Pilgrim’s project, Go Find Miracles. This sound artwork was installed on the Jubilee Line concourse at London’s Waterloo Station, playing to the thousands of commuters who passed through it during a limited period in July. Rory’s beautiful commission is a collaboration with communities in Portland and London who have direct experience of the criminal justice system, and weaves together musical compositions with interview segments and poetry. (You can read more about the themes explored in project on Art on the Underground’s website linked above.)
I helped Rory to sift through the recorded material, making selections about what would go on to be used in the edited piece, and structuring the speech and poetry segments.
